About Me

Welcome to Ardent Grace!
Hi, there! I'm Christi.
I commend you for taking the first steps toward a happier, more peaceful and balanced life. Making the choice to create positive change can be difficult, but it's well worth the effort!
Drawing from over 20 years of community mental health and private practice clinical experience, my approach utilizes a combination of evidence-based techniques that will be individually tailored to your specific emotional, spiritual and relational needs. Coming from a place of genuine empathy and respect, I'll work to help you find clarity in your situation and redefine issues to make them easier to address. My style is very interactive and conversational, so sessions always involve lots of feedback, encouragement, and focus on what you're doing right. Together, we can identify and implement new skills to better manage stress and anxiety and address any challenges to mental wellness. By building on your strengths, I'd like to help you feel empowered and ready to achieve lasting change.
Therapy doesn't have to be a scary or mysterious process. It's just a series of conversations about a subject in which you are a true expert: yourself. You've already taken the first step toward change, just by reaching out. Let's figure out how to get you to where you want to be!
I am a military spouse, and my husband and I have been married for over 20 years. We have two daughters on the autism spectrum, one with intellectual disabilities and the other gifted. Life for us has certainly had its challenges, but those struggles have blessed me with life lessons to share with anyone who would like to benefit, and the certainty that there is always hope for a brighter future.

TeletherapyArdent Grace offers secure HIPAA compliant video and phone sessions for individuals, couples and families. A lot of times, busy work and school schedules make it very difficult to find the time to do something good for yourself. I often work with busy professionals who find it easiest to meet on their lunch break, people who work from home, and sometimes even parents of toddlers who don't always have a sitter. With teletherapy, you can conveniently meet from the comfort of your home or any other preferred location, some or all of the time.
Christian Counseling If you are an individual or couple who is seeking to approach issues from a faith-based perspective, Christian counseling might be right for you. If you're wondering what make this approach different, Christian counseling encompasses both the standardized, evidence-based approaches to counseling commonly found with secular therapy, as well as faith-based techniques. Depending on your needs and preferences, Christian Counseling might include:
