Grief & Loss Support

There is no right way to grieve. There is your way.

Quiet lake at sunset

You don't have to choose between honoring your loss and embracing your future.

There can be room for both.

Whether your loss is recent or happened long ago, grief can show up in waves. You don't have to rush it. You don't have to go through it alone.

Grief can affect your body, your sleep, your concentration, your relationships, and your sense of meaning. It can surface through sadness, anger, numbness, relief, guilt, or even moments of unexpected laughter.

In therapy, we create space for all of it. Together, we honor your experience, make sense of what you're feeling, and gently move toward a life that can hold both your loss and your hope.

"Grief changes the landscape of your life, but it doesn't erase the possibility of joy, meaning, or hope."

I CAN HELP YOU:
Process and honor your loss
Navigate waves of grief and emotion
Understand the impact on your body and mind
Adjust to life changes and new roles
Find meaning and connection again
Hold space for both the hard and the hopeful
Quiet room with candle

What grief can look like day to day

Grief can show up in ordinary moments: reaching for your phone to call someone who is gone, dreading holidays, or feeling fine one day and flattened the next.

It can affect sleep, appetite, focus, and patience with others. Some people feel pressure to be "doing better" long before they're ready.

Grief can also follow losses that aren't a death, such as divorce, a move, a health change, or a future you expected that didn't happen.

Common questions about grief therapy

Is there a normal timeline for grief?

No. Grief doesn't follow a schedule, and it often comes in waves. Therapy isn't about getting over a loss; it's about finding a way to carry it.

Can I come to therapy for a loss that happened years ago?

Yes. Older losses can resurface during life changes, anniversaries, or new losses. It's never too late to get support.

Do you work with widows and widowers?

Yes. I've lost a partner myself, and I work with adults navigating widowhood and rebuilding afterward.

What if my loss wasn't a death?

Grief after divorce, estrangement, a health diagnosis, or a major move is real grief, and it deserves attention too.

The smallest steps still carry you forward.

Let's take the next step together.
